We will be running afternoon routes on Friday. Although the forecast "feels like" temperatures are a tad cooler due to lower humidity levels, it will still be hot. We encourage any of you who are able to pick up your student in order to shorten routes.

Soaring Student of the Week!
Last week's Soaring Student was Atticus Wilson from Mrs. Rawls's 4th-grade class.
Students at AES can earn recognition for positive behavior during the week. When staff members see great choices being made, students can receive a SOAR slip with specific praise. Every Friday, the names of every student who earned a SOAR slip are read during the morning opening. All student slips are entered into a drawing, and one student is randomly chosen to receive donuts for his or her class.
Who is outside in this heat….our fantastic maintenance crew that’s who! They are out every day checking to make sure our HVAC systems are up and running so our students and staff have great buildings to learn in! Couldn’t be prouder!! #WeAre409
