Due to slick road conditions, USD 409 will be on a 2-hour Late Start this morning. All buses will run two hours behind (ex. regular bus pick-up is at 6:55 now will be at 8:55 am). Buildings will be open to accommodate students who need to arrive early. There will be no AM Preschool today.

AMS Athletics: Tomorrow (1/22) 7th grade A BB will play at 4:45pm at Shawnee Heights MS. 8th grade A BB will play at 4:45pm at Seaman MS. The buses will leave at 3:00pm.
AMS Athletics: The Topeka Tournament for 7A & 8A Boys BB will be played as scheduled. The bus will leave at 6:45am for the 7th grade A team. The bus will leave at 8am for the 8th grade A team. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before these times. #WeAre409

Congratulations to Asher Cooper for winning the AMS School Spelling Bee today! After several championship words, he corrected spelled "penultimate" to win the bee. Finishing in 2nd place was Abby Webb. Both students along with others from grade 6th, 7th, & 8th will compete in the Atchison County Spelling Bee on Feb. 6th at ACCHS. A full list of students qualifying for the Spelling Bee will be released tomorrow. #WeAre409
